I grew up in Wichita,
Kansas, and never had an opportunity to see them that I know of. Thin
Lizzy was to be on the bill for the Journey show for July 12, 1979, in
Wichita. To my disappointment, there was a sign on the door just before
showtime that said, Thin Lizzy canceled due to illness. My buddies and I
took the sign off the door and went to the concert anyway. I've attached
the ticket stub and sign for your reference.
